June's Progress

Image
I did not get to doing June rotation of this WIPP until this morning. Since it is getting to be heavy, I have been only crocheting on the Pillow-top when I am actually setting while watching TV. It is too much now to do it while setting up in the bed. It is now 3/4 of a Queen Size Pillow Wide, without it being folded. And Makes it 1/2 of the bed almost when unfolded.

Mid April to Begining of May 2022 Progress

It is over 600 stitches around. It takes about 1 1/2 to complete one round. Because it takes so long to do a round I decided to count 1/2 round as a row, when I come to it on my WIPP rounds. As it getting wider it is becoming heavier. I find it easier to crochet it when in bed watching  Netflix or Hulu. That way I can lay it out while crocheting. Stay Safe and Healthy until next time.

I know there are cheaper places to buy one. But, it is nice sometimes to try out a fantasy. Besides I think crochet top would last longer then any mattress. I have decided since this is not going to be where people can see it I will be stash busting with #4 weight type yarns. First up will Red Heart Super Saver. Using a I/9/5.5 mm Hook . The stitch I will be using is the Thermal Stitch . I chose the thermal stitch because of the built in doubleness of the stitch.  Here is blog post about how to do the Thermal Stitch   Heart Hook Home Blog .  To begin with I crocheted ...
